Dorian Gray terpengaruh oleh apa yang dikatakan Lord Henry, kemudian dia berdiri di depan gambar itu dan berdoa agar dia tidak pernah bertambah tua dan jika dia bertambah tua, dia ingin gambar itu berubah, bukan dirinya sendiri.
